he does
Andy helps tell the world about the amazing discoveries made at
the Keck Observatory on Mauna Kea.
How
he got into science
After majoring in English, Andy worked as a journalist. On a trip
to Hawai'i to write about the observatories, he heard there was
a job opening at Keck. He applied, and landed the job he loves.
Favorite
accomplishments
Andy helped 60 film crews make movies about the telescopes on Mauna
Kea. He also visits classrooms around the Big Island.
In
his free time
A son and daughter keep Andy and his wife busy, but they find time
to remodel their house. He also likes to read and write fiction.
